Why practical, not theoretical
Most supply chain training stops at definitions of safety stock and the bullwhip effect. This programme has you size the safety stock, run the reorder policy, and read the variance — the work that actually moves service level and working capital.
Every session uses your real tasks, data and tools — you build assets you keep, not slideware.
You finish with a portfolio artifact and a verifiable certificate governed by our ISO/IEC 42001:2023-certified AIMS.
The shift
You move from firefighting shortages and reacting to whatever the ERP shows today, to running a repeatable planning cycle — demand, supply, inventory, and execution — that you can stand behind in front of operations and finance.
By the end, you'll be able to…
Skills you’ll build

Our approach
Our programmes help professionals get genuinely good at the work itself. We combine education, real examples, and guided practice so people leave with skills they can apply immediately.
01
Assess
Map your team’s current skill level and identify gaps by role.
02
Design
Build a curriculum aligned to your tools and learning goals.
03
Train
On-demand modules and real-world exercises you apply to your own work.
04
Measure
Track adoption and confidence with post-training assessments.
A four-module path from demand signal to a board-ready operating plan.
Each module builds one core capability of the supply chain operating cycle, with worked examples and a deliverable you produce on your own data.

Forecasting fundamentals
Moving averages, exponential smoothing, trend and seasonality, and choosing the right model for each demand pattern.
Forecast accuracy & bias
MAPE, MAD, tracking signal, and the forecast-value-added review that separates signal from noise.
Inventory policy & safety stock
Service-level math, demand and lead-time variability, EOQ, reorder points, and min/max replenishment.
Segmentation & stocking strategy
ABC/XYZ analysis, make-to-stock vs make-to-order, and matching policy to product behaviour.
Procurement & supplier performance
Category strategy, RFx, total cost of ownership, supplier scorecards, and negotiation preparation.
S&OP & network design
The monthly planning cycle, capacity and supply constraints, network modelling, and cost-to-serve analysis.
You leave with a working S&OP plan and the analysis behind it
Across the modules you build a complete planning pack on your own product line or a provided scenario — a measured forecast, a segmented inventory policy, a supplier scorecard, and a constrained S&OP plan with the service-vs-cost trade-offs made explicit.
It is the artifact a planner or supply chain manager actually presents to operations and finance, not a worksheet exercise.

Your toolkit
You work in Excel for forecasting, safety-stock and EOQ models and segmentation, and Power BI for inventory-health and service-level dashboards, applying standard frameworks — ABC/XYZ, the SCOR model, S&OP, and total cost of ownership — the way they are used on the job.

Questions, answered
What will I actually be able to do after this?
Run the core supply chain cycle yourself: produce a measured demand forecast, set inventory and safety-stock policy to a service target, build a supplier scorecard, and assemble a constrained S&OP plan with the cost trade-offs spelled out.
Who is this programme for?
Demand and supply planners, buyers and procurement staff, inventory and logistics analysts, and operations managers who want to move from reacting to shortages to running a deliberate planning method. It also suits people moving into a supply chain role from a related function.
How is it delivered — are there live sessions?
It is fully self-paced and on-demand. You work through the modules on your own schedule, with worked examples and templates you can apply immediately. There are no live cohorts or fixed times.
How much time does it take?
Plan for roughly four to six hours per module. You can move faster on topics you already know and spend longer on the hands-on builds, since the modules and deliverables stay available for you to revisit.
What do I produce by the end?
A complete planning pack on your own data or a provided scenario: a forecast with accuracy and bias measured, an ABC/XYZ segmentation with stocking policy, a supplier scorecard, and a constrained S&OP plan with a cost-to-serve view — a portfolio piece you can show at work.
Do I need a maths or software background?
No. The forecasting and inventory maths are taught step by step and built in Excel, with each formula explained in plain terms. If you can work with a spreadsheet, you have everything you need to start.
